29.3. As we have quite a few foreign friends keeping an eye on our blog I will continue in English. Puerto de Campello. 40 nM, almost all the way under sail. In the end we got a very stronf westerly breeze which carried us to the harbour.
30.3. Provisions and boat cleaning. I bought a new fishing tackle, the old one got busted with our little incindent in San Jose and the reel was rusted. The previous night was quite windy.
31.3. Cloudy morning and we left without any wind which luckily picked up a bit during the day so we managed to sail 13/30 nm. The welcome in Moraira was very good, the mariner was greeting us on the pier and another one with a Zodiac showed us a lace by the pier. They didn’t even want the paperwork done immediatelly and told us to stop by the office next day. Very nice toilets and shovers.
1.4. April fools in Moraira. We had lunch atin the town which seems very nice, most of the people in shops and restaurants speak English! There seems to be a lot of foreigners here, mostly brits. Only one other visiting boat in the harbour, Peridot. a small sailing yacht. The master Derek joined us for drinks and gave us a lot of useful information about the Baleares. They have been sailing on these waters since 1998. The forecast promised strong winds so we decided to postpone our departure till 3.4.
2.4. Sunny and windy in Moraira. Provisions, fuel and water. The harbour is very good, there’s even a launderette and with 5€ we had a wash and dryer. The wind is supposed to die out tomorrow so we plan to make an early start tomorrow morning. We got the map and pilot book for the Baleares from the chandlery and visited Derek who told us about his favorite places on the islands and gave us a lot of  useful information about the passages and anchorages. We will make everything ready tonight so we can leave very early and catch the wind. The marina doesn’t have a wifi so we take the laptops to the shore and connect to one of the restaurant wifis.
