5.4. Andtraxt-Cala Pi, 26 nm, 20 under sail. Nice sunny day and a fair wind. Cala Pi was a small bay, more like a cove and only under 50 meters wide. We did have some trouble with the anchors which didn’t get a good hold and had to wake up at night to adjust them. Of course it was raining.

6.4. Cala Pi. Cloudy and windy day and the temperature was only 9 degrees in the morning. The sky cleared during the day and we opened the BBQ season on the shore. We climbed steep stairs to the village and got to use the resort wifi for 5 euros a day.

7.4. Cala Pi – Porto Cristo. 35 nm, 28 under sail. First 28 miles a fair wind and we had both sails fully up and made good speed. Then suddenly the wind turned 180 degrees and we had to star the engine. We had planned to stay at another cala (cove) but the swell was so bad that we had to carry on for a few more miles to Porto Cristo which is a big bay with an expensive yacht club and a publiq quay. We attached the boat to the latter. The officed wwas closed but we got the keys to the showers from an American boat. They have quite a boat, a Lagoon 450 catamaran and the family of four had been living on it for a year. Very nice people. We now have a problem with our small rubber dinghy which is leaking. Two out of the four compartmens leak and we have to fix that. Then we have to get some groceries and fill up the watertanks. After that we sail towards Menorca. we don’t know if we are going to reach it today, it all depends on  the wind.
